Mark Harden of Cowdenknowes
Mark, son and heir to Barry George Harden of Cowdenknowes, 15th Baron, was raised in Cambridge , England. Mark left England in 1989 and travelled extensively before settling in Atlanta in 1995. This year Mark has received the title of Baron from his Father and now represents Cowdenknowes, as the 16th Baron, on this side of the pond. Mark is dedicated to the preservation of Scottish heritage and history and spends a great deal of his spare time pursuing this passion. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, a Board Officer and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Society of Scottish Armigers and a Member, Assistant Webmaster and Moderator of the Heraldry Society of Scotland. He is also a Member of the American Heraldry Society and the St Andrews Society of Atlanta. Mark works for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Emergency Operations Center in Atlanta. He and his wife Beth have three children, Ryan 9, Elizabeth 4, and Catherine 2. |
